The Yukon XL shares its platform and its footprint with the Escalade ESV, so it takes the same six passengers and the same four large bags. Denali is GMC’s top trim: the chrome grille, the leather, the quieter cabin. In practice it is the ESV’s twin, and it is the reason we can put two full six-seat parties on the road within the same hour when two flights land close together.
