ESV is Cadillac’s extended-wheelbase Escalade: about thirty centimetres longer than the standard car, all of it behind the third row. That is where the four large bags go with every seat in use. Inside, the curved display runs the width of the dash and the second row is two captain chairs with a walk-through to the third. It is the car we send for a family landing at YUL with a ski week’s luggage, or a delegation of six that wants to travel together.

Do six passengers and their luggage really fit?
Four large bags and three carry-ons with all six seats in use. If your group is right at that limit, tell us when you book and we will check it rather than find out at the kerb.
Is this the long-wheelbase Escalade?
Yes. ESV is the extended version; the extra length is entirely cargo space behind the third row.
Can you fit child seats?
Yes, $15 per seat (rear-facing, forward-facing or booster), added to your price. Tell us the ages when you book and they are fitted before the car leaves.
