Grand Prix weekend in Montréal: moving around without the stress
During the 2027 Canadian Grand Prix (May 21–23), cars without a pass can't use the Concorde Bridge or avenue Pierre-Dupuy, and there's no spectator parking on the island. Book your airport transfers and evening rides early, and use the official drop-off points or the metro for the circuit.

What makes the weekend hard
- No parking at Parc Jean-Drapeau for spectators; no vehicle without a pass on the Concorde Bridge or avenue Pierre-Dupuy. Grand Prix du Canada
- Hotels, restaurants and cars are booked weeks ahead; app prices surge after the race.
- Airport traffic peaks Thursday and Monday.
A plan that works
- Airport: book YUL pickups and returns as soon as you have flights.
- Race days: metro to Jean-Drapeau, or a drop-off at an official point (P8 at La Ronde, the Grand Prix Hub on rue Marc-Cantin, or rue de l'Écluse in Saint-Lambert).
- Evenings: an hourly chauffeur for dinner and events means no hunting for a car in the post-race crowd. Hourly chauffeur.
